Hello, I'm Tricia

I come to CoPilot with a background in Child Development and Teaching. I received my degree at  California State University of Northridge specializing in education and psychology courses. I have over 10 years experience in educational teaching. I thoroughly enjoyed my first teaching assignment in 1998 as a Los Angeles Unified School District elementary school teacher in a bilingual English immersion community. I also hold teaching licenses in 4 states: California, Utah, Arizona, and Missouri. I have taught multiple teaching subjects, including Visual Art and Secondary level Science.

 

I feel so blessed to have raised 2 teenagers of my own, son and daughter, now young adults. Through my experiences, I understand the individual needs of multi-faceted learners. In addition to showing focused professional communication with parents, students, and professional educators, I have built a skill set of using effective and fair assessments of students in multiple teaching roles. I have a great love for nature, the arts, science and working with adults and youth. My ultimate goals are to create a successful, safe, and positive environment for those I educate and inspire to be the best they can be!
